Roy Beers

   Biography

The founding father of Salvadorian falconry (having been actively involved in this ancient art form since 1983). Falconry pioneer who instituted the first Falconry club and school in the entire Central American region: Club y Escuela de Cetrería de El Salvador. Introduced and promotes falconry in the country as ancient art that encourages the conservation of raptors and their prey, and the preservation of natural habitats through education. Plays an instrumental role as the national delegate for the club’s inclusion to the prestigious International Association for Falconry and Conservation of Birds of Prey (www.i-a-f.org) in the country.
